Andrea and Nick met while students at K-State and they have the BEST "meet cute" we've heard in a long time! Nick used his excellent persuasive skills to negotiate a deal with Andrea - 20 chicken nuggets per digit of her phone number. Andrea was smitten with how witty and unique Nick was and, despite cheering for opposite sports teams and being Wildcats living in Lawrence for a while, their love grew through mutual interests - including a love of chicken nuggets!
We're a little biased, but we are IN LOVE with Andrea's wedding gown. It's truly one-of-a-kind; Andrea worked with Moonlight Couture, one of our customizable designers, to help create a dress she absolutely loved. There were pieces of two different gowns that attracted Andrea and, like a lot of brides, she wished "Can't we just put them together?!" Occasionally, the answer to that question is an enthusiastic "YES!", so we were able to give Andrea the sparkly ballgown look of her dreams!
Andrea's large ballgown features delicate spaghetti straps with lace off-the-shoulder sleeves, a modest yet alluring v neckline, bold floral lace appliques throughout the skirt, and an entire layer of glitter tulle! Plus, we ordered this babe in all ivory, making her extra bright in natural light. We wanted this dress to SPARKLE, so we packed this gown with customizable glitter to give Andrea the "WOW" statement she was looking for. Plus, we LOVE how she paired her wedding day look with an upscale bridal ponytail - beautiful, yet practical for dancing the night away!
Andrea kept Nick looking classic and handsome in a cobalt navy suit with matching berry toned accents. Combined with her natural greenery and the gorgeous green backdrops of their venue, this wedding was the epitome of summertime love!
