#dgbride: Anna

#dgbride: Anna

Alright, y'all, this next #dgbride is extra near and dear to our hearts. We can't wait to introduce you to Anna, who married her soulmate, Ricky, in one of the most stunningly traditional ceremonies we've seen in a long time. Their gorgeously organic day was captured by longtime friend and photographer Jillian Lim, who captured some of the CUTEST pictures of these two! Get ready to fall as in love with Anna as we have, friends!

Us DG girls were first lucky enough to meet Anna when she worked across the street at Leslie Coffee Co; she was our barista for the many, many, MANY lattes we ordered. Anna had a vision of wearing her mother's wedding dress on wedding day, but the amount of alterations it would have needed to make it wedding-ready was more than what Anna had in mind. So we took the ~vibe of her mother's wedding dress and found her an absolutely stunning Wilderly gown, complete with the long sleeves she was wanting! Anna chose an effortlessly cool sheet lace gown named Marigold, complete with a modest neckline, soft sleeves, and the most bohemian lace we've ever seen. Her soft gold undertone was the perfect compliment to the neutral colors Anna picked for her wedding day and we love the soft, romantic button detail all the way down her train. Anna wanted a dress that REMINDED her of her mother's, while still being totally her own - and we think Marigold delivered!

We love that Anna's soft, vintage wedding day vision perfectly matched her airy, ethereal day. Her vision is a great example of how to stay TRUE to your unique aesthetic, while still being able to fully customize her wedding day. We love the high neck, open back combination, which was perfect for their summertime wedding day. While Anna didn't wear her mother's dress on her wedding day, we think Marigold was the perfect combination between a vintage gown and a modern beauty!

Congratulations, Anna and Ricky! We are so thankful you chose Dress Gallery for your bridal boutique; we LOVED getting to know you and cannot thank you enough for the massive amount of caffeine that you provided us to help us going. We are so glad you trusted us to style you for such an important day. Your dress is truly perfect. We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness. Cheers to the Oshakuades!
