Ashlen chose an absolutely stunning crepe Maggie Sottero gown named "Fernanda" that we absolutely adore. With no embellishments save for fabric buttons down the entire skirt + train length, Ashlen's silhouette is the true star of this gown. This all ivory gown perfectly fit her classic black-and-white vibe of the wedding, a gorgeous combination of edgy formal that only was heightened by a little bit of stormy skies + rain!
For real, how dreamy are these umbrella photos?! These are a perfect example of not letting the weather ruin your day, but instead embracing everything that your wedding day gives you and allowing it to let your photographer get creative. These rainy day shots are cute and unique, but also intimate and a little steamy with the Lucite umbrella! The industrial feel totally fits with Ashlen + Austin's vibe while also giving them a safe space from the rain to cuddle up together for gorgeous photos!
Now we gotta show off our girl Ashlen, though. Her dress is a simplistic stunner, totally plain minus those classic fabric buttons throughout the bodice and train. Her tank straps are ultra supportive and classic, while her sheath fit totally highlights her body while still allowing her to dance the night away. Accented with two seams through the bodice and down the thighs, this feature is made to follow the natural curves of your body and let the dress fall perfectly. Fernanda features a swooping, wide train, perfect for dramatic shots and creating extra dimension in photos. Basically, Ashlen looks 10 feet tall in this gown by letting her body do ALL the talking!
