Absolutely stunning #dgbride Ashton married her soulmate, Drew, on October 19th, 2019 on their family's land in Kingman, Kansas. Their low-key gorgeous country wedding featured a stunning landscape wheat background with contrasting pops of bright red to match. Their entire day was airy, romantic, and straight up stunning. Rebecca Rose Photography based in Wichita did their photography and it's to die for!

Ashton wanted to keep her wedding country but classic, with pops of deep reds and stark ivory against the amber waves of wheat on their family land. This was the perfect backdrop for their love - warm, airy, and full of family members. They kept their unique and lighthearted, a true mirror to this fun-loving couple's personality!

The couple wanted to keep their wedding romantic but fun. "Nothing too 'fancy'," Ashton said. She planned the wedding with the help of her husband, mother, and other loved ones. By crowd sourcing ideas and inspiration from other brides, she was able to create her own unique, beautiful day special to her and Drew. "I'd live the day over and over if I could."

When it came to picking her gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown, Ashton was looking for something that would fit the vibe of her country wedding, but also make her feel like a bride.

"I love my dress so much," she said. "It was form-fitted and made me feel so beautiful. It showed the perfect amount of skin, but was still tasteful. The lace fit the country vibe of our wedding and the sparkle detail made it "frilly." I chose this dress because it's the only one that made me tear up when I tried it on!" she said.

Ashton was so confident in her dress and Dress Gallery that we were the only boutique she visited! She tried about 5 or 6 dresses on here with Courtney before finding this pale blush stunner.

(Really quickly, we need to insert how freaking cool it is that Ashton drove up to her ceremony in a vintage yellow truck? It was a WOW moment, yet so down-to-earth!)

Ashton has some seriously chill advice for future brides. "Have a plan, but don't expect everything to work out. There are one or two things you will have to adjust and your wedding will still be perfect," she said.

Another great advice Ashton has is to ask for help! "Don't be afraid to be reach out to those friends/family who offered," she said. She surrounded herself with some fabulous loved ones, including her bridesmaids and mother, who helped style!

The bridesmaids wore a combination of designers in a popping, bright red color while both mothers wore our Adrianna Papell evening gowns. We are so thankful Ashton trusted us to style the important women in her life.

Another perfect part of Ashton and Drew's wedding was how much their loved ones pitched in for their wedding. They made all the food for their taco bar themselves; her mother-in-law and grandmother-in-law made all the floral arrangements; and her friend Jennifer Riehl created all the cakes and cupcakes! She even made a gluten-free option available.

But the one vendor Ashton raved about was the bed and breakfast her wedding party got ready in! Baker's Quarter Bed & Breakfast in Kingman had fresh ready for all the family first thing in the morning. All the food was made in-house and from scratch.

"It was such a cute and homey place to stay!" she said.

Thank you, Ashton, for being a #dgbride. We are so thankful for you and your sweet loved ones choosing Dress Gallery as your bridal boutique. We will be raving over your gorgeous photos for years to come!
