It's time for a double header, fam! Let us introduce to you #dgbride and #dggroom Abby and Matt Morris! They were married in front of their loved ones on September 26, 2020. Their original spring date got moved due to COVID-19 and this couple definitely had to roll with the punches, but the result is wedding even more gorgeous than we could have imagined. (We might be biased because we did the dress & suits, but whatever). Shoutout to photography genius Brianna Huynh for these fabulous photos!
After having to reschedule their original May ceremony date, Matt and Abby didn't let COVID stop them from having the ultimate party. They had been waiting quite patiently for their wedding to begin with, so a few more months was nerve-wracking but totally worth it! Their marriage was definitely a party, surrounded by a loveable group of friends & family. (Again, we're biaed, but Matt's groomsmen might have been our favorite that weekend!)
Abby chose an absolutely stunning Essense of Australia ballgown for her special day. The "moscato" champage color underneath looked perfect with her dark hair and makeup! Her horsehair trim added additional volume to the skirt, making this dress ultra dramatic. Add in supportive, wide, sequined straps and a beaded illusion back and this dress couldn't be beat!
When it came down to styling Matt and his groomsmen, the Morris's wanted to keep things classic, traditional, but stylish. We recommended a gorgeous grey tuxedo, accented with hunter green detailing that perfect matched their florals & greenery! We also have to give Matt an extra big shoutout. For whatever reason, his replacement vest was sent in the correct size, but fit incorrectly, and he was totally chill and willing to let us overnight him a new one to perfect his fit. Thanks for letting us take care of you, Matt!
Okay guys, now it's time for our favorite photos from their wedding....are you ready?! This is their first look and when we saw these, all of us girls here at Dress Gallery were bawling. The raw and honest emotion on Matt's face when he saw his smokeshow of a wife was the absolute best!
