Our beautiful bride, Jaime, married her soulmate, Caleb, on August 10, 2018. They planned their intimate destination wedding in Rocky Mountain National Park, surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery and rolling fields. Jaime wanted her big day to be as relaxed and laid back as possible. With such gorgeous natural backdrops, the couple decided they wanted to keep their details minimal, matching the greenery to the surrounding natural foliage. She wanted to keep the atmosphere of the entire day stress free and focused on the mountains! Their primary color palette included wine, greenery, and neutrals such as blush and grey. Combined with the golden hour sunlight, their pictures were a perfect transition from late summer into early autumn. The pops of vibrant merlot combined with the bridal partys different textures created such depth. Her bridesmaids featured sequinning and velvet while the groomsmen donned tweed suits. When it comes to planning their big day, Jaime utilized elopement help! Marry Me in Colorado is a destination wedding planning service that allows out of town brides an easier time planning and executing their destination dreams. Different packages included different services, but Jaime utilized Marry Me in Colorado for a wedding day coordinator, popular ceremony spots, officiants, hair and makeup recommendations, cakes, and more! When it comes to destination wedding services, however, Jaime has some great advice. They were helpful, but if I could go back, I would just hire an officiant and purchase a permit directly through Rocky Mountain National Park to get married there. Since my wedding was very small and low key, there were a lot of extras I didnt need! Jaimes favorite memory of her wedding day was her first look with her husband, Caleb. Jaime was unsure of whether to do a first look, but eventually decided having the small, quiet moment with Caleb prior to their ceremony was important and shes glad she did! The two exchanged personal vows between each other before saying vows publicly during their ceremony. It was such an intimate and surreal moment, Jaime said. I love that I have photos and video to re-live the moment whenever I want. Creating Jaimes wedding day look was a little different than the traditional bridal experience. Jaimes dress featured separates added together to create a customized bridal gown. The skirt, topper, and belt were curated specifically for her perfect bridal look! Her off-the-shoulder lace topper was perfect for her bohemian vibe and the tulle skirt gave her a comfortable fit for the entire day and fit the whimsical, romantic mountain scenery. Jaimes dress was the perfect combination of chic and stylish, along with comfortable for her outdoor ceremony! I knew from the minute I got engaged I wanted lace and I wanted sleeves, Jaime said of her bridal experience. Ive always adored the boho style and Katie NAILED it with matching pieces that originally didnt even go together! It was pretty much spot on for what I imagined in my head.   My experience was nothing short of amazing, Jaime said. Katie and all the other girls at Dress Gallery were very helpful and so sweet. They even helped me pick out jewelry during my final fitting!     Jaimes final words are GREAT words of advice for newly engaged brides: Do what YOU want. Why waste the money on something thats not going to make you happy? We concur! This intimate, mountainous getaway seems so cozy and special a perfect representation of Jaime and Calebs love. We congratulate you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! Thank you to Kara and Mackenzie Photography for the photos! Check back next week for another #DGBride!
