Okay, y'all, time to introduce one of our absolute favorite #dgbrides! Meet Kathleen, who married her soulmate, Justin, at a gorgeous fall ceremony at the Hudson! Their intimate and classic ceremony was in September 2020, full of ivory, greenery, and lots of black accents! Their special day was captured by the fabulous Kara Smith Photography, who is seriously so good at capturing wedding photos. We are always in awe of her work! Fall in love with this gorgeous couple below: We fell head-over-heels with Kathleen's simplistic and chic wedding vision. She wanted to keep her day classic, romantic, and timeless, which she pulled off flawlessly. Kathleen chose a dove satin Essense of Australia a-line gown featuring a soft off-the-shoulder and plunging neckline. She kept her wedding look totally royal by adding a fabulous silver tiara for drama, but kept the rest of her look fresh and bare. Her dress choice was totally unique due to the fabric; this dove satin material is soft and flowy compared to traditional satin! When it came to shopping for her dress, Kathleen came to Dress Gallery first because she lived locally. She had a great time with her consultant, Katie, and found a few potential options. Kathleen's mom really wanted her to have the Say Yes to the Dress experience, so Kathleen and her group flew out to New York for a weekend at Kleinfeld bridal - yes, THAT KLEINFELD. Wanna know the story? She tried on a few dresses with her consultant there and ended up falling in love with an Essense of Australia gown......the one she's wearing in the photo! But she knew that Katie and Dress Gallery had that dress available because she saw it on our Pinterest page. So while she found "The One" in New York, she didn't buy it. Instead, she flew back to Wichita, re-tried the dress on with Katie, fell in love again, and purchased through us! (For a cheaper price, we might add.) We wish we could have claimed Kathleen's girls and Justin for the big day, but we have to give all the credit to Kathleen for that. We love her mismatched bridesmaids look while keeping everything cohesive and clean by using black. Justin rocked a gorgeous green suit which perfectly accented the greenery in their party! We love how romantic plus comfortable everyone looked in the photos; you can tell the day was full of laughter, relaxation, and joy! Congratulations, Kathleen and Justin! We are so thankful that we got to play a small part of your big day. Being able to help style Kathleen was so special to us and we are thankful you chose Dress Gallery to buy your dress. We wish you a lifetime of love and happiness. Cheers to the Karrs!
