Edgy and cool #dgbride Leah married her soulmate, Jordan, on June 20, 2020 at the Hudson. Their wedding day looked a little different thanks to COVID-19 than they anticipated, but it was an intimate affair surrounded by gorgeous greenery, stylish hexagons, and one of the coolest Maggie Sottero gowns around. Check out some details below! (Psst - thanks Bele Benard for these gorgeous wedding photos! She may be out of the wedding game now, but if you're looking into boudoir, we promise there's no one better!)

Leah wanted her wedding to be laid-back and edgy-cool, featuring modern hexagon shapes throughout and absolutely no flowers anywhere - greenery only. This crisp and chic vibe was mirrored in the pressed flower hexagon bouquets for the bridesmaids and the sweeping, muted earth tones throughout the decorations!

We gotta talk about Leah real quick, guys, and love-gush on her a little bit. Not only is she the world's sweetest bride, but she unexpectedly lost her father in September 2019 while she was wedding planning. This was obviously devastating for her entire family. Planning a wedding without one of the most important loved ones is so hard. Her bridal party knew how important it was to have her father present, so they surprised her with a Father/Daughter dance with each of them, allowing her to have an intimate moment with each of her girls that honored her father, who we know was watching, all smiles, from up above.

When it came to finding her dream dress, Leah knew she was going to be a Dress Gallery bride. She tried on about five or six dresses before her consultant, Courtney, pulled The One. Leah's gorgeous fitted Maggie Sottero gown featured beading from head to toe, a gorgeous illusion back with geometric detailing, and the perfect puddle train. It helps that Courtney and Leah were sorority sisters in college and both share a love for American traditional tattoos; Courtney really wanted to find something that fit Leah's cool vibe while also showing off her fabulous amount of ink! We love the juxtaposition of Leah's girly, feminine gown and her bold, badass tattoos!

Originally, Leah & Jordan planned for a wedding of 150 people, which ended up becoming a small, intimate get-together of about 40. Due to social distancing restrictions and mask recommendations, their day was definitely different than what they anticipated. A few key members of the bridal party were unable to attend, so they pre-recorded speeches to be played during the reception and livestreamed the ceremony so everyone could be involved!

Leah is the ultimate queen of the down-to-earth, playful wedding vibe. Even though COVID-19 threw her some curveballs, she was able to roll with the punches and create a day that truly celebrated her and Jordan. They highlighted the important parts of their relationship - their doggos even made an appearance in the table numbers and custom cocktails! Keeping these small details specific to their love made their intimate ceremony so much more special!

At the end of the day, your wedding is about the love between you & your spouse - and no one knows that better than the Boncyzks. "Make it about you and your groom, not your guests," Leah said. "Don't stress over the little things (and it's all little things.) Just enjoy your day!"

Thank you, Leah, for being the coolest of the cool. We are so thankful you chose Dress Gallery to outfit your wedding gown & bridesmaids. We wish you & Jordan the absolute best. Congratulations to you both!
