We're so excited to introduce our newest #dgbride, Sarah! She married her soulmate, Clayton, in an ultra intimate and organic outdoor ceremony in Wichita, Kansas. We were honored to style both Sarah and her girls for the big day, which ended up being an absolutely gorgeous affair full of love, laughter, and happiness. Their photographer, Sublette Studios, was a perfect choice to capture their warm wedding day. Sarah had been long term friends with their photographer, making their posing effortless. Plus, we're a little biased, but everyone looked pretty good if you ask us. Check out some of our favorite shots below!
For her dress, Sarah wanted something light and airy for her early summertime wedding. Kansas heat can be brutal, so a soft A-line skirt meant she could be comfortable and move around easily throughout the night. She fell in love with Stella York style 7083, a super classic A-line dress features a soft chiffon and tulle skirt, a truly unique combo. Her delicately beaded spaghetti straps and wildflower lace appliques were dainty, feminine, and perfectly chic. She chose Stella's stunning true Ivory colorway, allowing her to look extra bridal while still feeling modern. This dress gave off the beautiful, fun, effortless vibe Sarah was wanting for her wedding day.
For her girls, Sarah wanted to let everyone look and feel their best. She landed on a preferred color (Jasmine Bridal's Boysenberry) and allowed the girls to choose the styles of gowns they preferred. We LOVE that the ladies all ended up in chiffon gowns, inadvertently complimenting Sarah's own bridal skirt perfectly. We love how chic her girls look in their cohesive color while still choosing styles that felt authentic to them! Happy bridesmaids are the prettiest bridesmaids (:
Congratulations, Sarah and Clayton! We are so grateful you trusted us to play a small role in such an important day. You both radiated love and we are grateful to have been included. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and champagne pops. Cheers to the Skaggs'!
