Y'all...we LOVE when a #dgbride is a visionary and our next showstopping bride is truly iconic. Our girl Shannon is a local cosmetologist with a specialization in hair and makeup. She's been behind the beauty looks for so many of our brides and when we were able to style HER for her own beach wedding, we were beyond honored. We knew that she had some cool taste but truly weren't prepared for how stunning her wedding gallery was! Her photographer, Caitlyn Cloud, is a perfect choice for their bright and sunny destination ceremony. Plus, you're gonna wanna steal Shannon's custom sleeve idea! When it came to her dress, we knew pretty early that Shannon was going to be rockin' a fitted silhouette. For a beach wedding, she loved the idea of keeping it sexy yet comfortable so a dress with a stretch liner was a must! She ended up in a Maggie Sottero boho stunner (discontinued style Narissa) featuring the coolest medallion lace appliques, soft nude undertone, and the stretchiest of comfort liners. Add in her petite straps and this was a perfect beach fit! Shannon, however, is a bride who likes a little extra (aka our favorite type.) She knew that she wanted a cool sleeve addition, especially as a detachable option that allowed her to remove them later should she choose. We contacted Maggie for additional lace and fabric to match her dress and our favorite seamstress, Juliana over at Quickstitch, created a pattern for Shannon's floor-length boho sleeves! It was the perfect combination of bougie yet subtle for this fashionista bride!
