Badass #dgbride Spencer married her soulmate, Nick, on during a gorgeous weekday ceremony on October 12, 2020. We absolutely love their intimate, close-knit ceremony and edgy, cool details. They totally transformed their white barn venue into the moody, modern wedding of their dreams! Thanks to our love, Shelby Laine, for shooting one of the coolest couples we've ever met. Check out their wedding below!
Spencer is a local artist who specializes in printmaking. She runs her own shop called "Sleeping Sounds Press" and she definitely utilized her artistic, creative side in her wedding. We love seeing all of her specialized details - like her embroidered handkerchief! (And let's be honest, we love a little profanity!)
Spencer ended up choosing a gorgeous Maggie Sottero gown named "Ardelle." Featuring an illusion high neckline, a glitter tulle skirt, and a bespoke corset back, this gown was a surprise contender for her. She expected to fall in love with a fitted, edgy gown, but the princess-vibe of Ardelle ended up being totally perfect!
We absolutely love how Spencer styled her gown. Instead of going very glam and princess like, she kept her gown edgy by including bespoke jewelry (looking at you, Blue Saddle Jewelry!) and a white chiffon bridal cape! Combined with her awesome tattoos and soft rock-and-roll makeup, we think that this is the ultimate queen look!
We can't get over how happy & in love Spencer & Nick look during their photos! They kept their wedding day down-to-earth and low-key, which was perfect for a weekday wedding. They focused their ceremony on their love for each other and their close group of friends/family!
Thank you so much, Spencer, for allowing us to be a small part of your big day. We are so glad you are at DG bride!
