#dgbride: Sydney A

Guys, are you ready to RAVE over our next #dgbride and all her gorgeous wedding details? Because we totally are. Our girl, Sydney, married her soulmate Derrick in one of the brightest, airiest springtime ceremonies we've seen in a long time. As a camp counselor, Sydney chose a gorgeous summer camp location complete with the most gorgeous Kansas backdrop. Her photographer, longtime Wichita favorite Becca Louise, was the literal PERFECT choice for their romantic and warm wedding photos. Check out some of our favorite shots from their wedding album below!

When it came to her wedding dress, Sydney was looking for something beautiful, timeless, and comfortable on her wedding day. She landed on a soft A-line silhouette, allowing her easy movement for dancing and talking the night away while still highlighting her waist. She chose a stunning Stella York gown (style 6391) featuring lace cap sleeves, illusion lace back (complete with gorgeous fabric buttons!), and trickling lace through the skirt. Her lightweight train was a perfect choice for a rural/rustic, outdoor ceremony. And LOOK AT THAT JACKET! We can't take any credit for this stylish find but we are LIVING for Sydney's choice. Bridal denim jackets have been a trend for a while now, but we love that Sydney took the trend even further by doing a fully customized, embroidered floral jacket. Is there a better combination for a super cool, down-to-earth outdoor wedding?

We LOVE IT when furry friends make an appearance at the wedding and even more so when the photographer captures some really great fur family shots. Sydney and Derrick brought their beloved up to the ceremony because of course - he's part of the family! And if we're being honest.....we love sharing shots of cute doggos!

Congratulations, Sydney and Derrick! We so appreciate the opportunity to style you for such an important day. We truly believe that Stella York was made for you and we're going to be showing off that jacket for years to come. We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness! Cheers to the Amends!
