Alright, y'all, ready to lose it over our next #dgbride? We can't wait to introduce Whitney, her married her soulmate, Paul, in a deliciously summery wedding ceremony full of pops of peaches and pinks. Their gorgeously fun yet traditional wedding was the perfect balance between timeless, yet modern. Our main chick Shelby Laine absolutely killed their photos - it was so hard to narrow down our favorites! Check out this fabulous wedding below! When it came to her gown, Whitney definitely wanted to keep a timeless/traditional vibe, but we knew her gown had to have a WOW impact. With her cathedral ceremony and bougie reception, she needed a gown that could totally keep up with her fabulous wedding while also highlighting her body in the best way. There was no better option that her stunning Allure Couture gown. Whitney customized style C508 by shortening the train and ordering the dress shorter, saving her on alterations with her hem! Shortening the train also allowed her to move easily amongst her guests and dance the night away without an ultra heavy bustle. Her fit-and-flare gown featured an illusion high neckline, totally elongating her torso and making her look extra tall (a perfect design feature for petite women!) Her thoroughly-beaded dress featured white beads and crystals from head to train, allowing her to shimmer with every step. Her illusion back was sultry, yet sophisticated, featuring buttons all the way down her back and cascading into the train! Add in her gorgeously chic bridal updo and you have a timeless, yet totally modern wedding day look. We were also lucky enough to help Whitney style her bridesmaids, too! Whitney knew she wanted a formal-feeling color for her wedding, but traditional black felt dull and flat for her July wedding. She settled on Morilee's "Sapphire" color, a gorgeous combination of purples and navy undertones that create the most flattering color. She kept her bridal party look classic by keeping everyone in the same dress save for her Maid of Honor, who chose a different style to set her apart! While we can't take credit for Paul's look, we love that Whitney kept his outfit stylish, yet down-to-earth by choosing a middle grey - dark enough to feel formal, but light enough to feel cool for a summertime ceremony! How gorgeous are these photos taken at the historic Petroleum Building in downtown Wichita? Inside is a fabulous cocktail bar called Cana Wine + Spirits - their champagne room is where Whitney took some of her stunning bridal portraits! We love the gold accents for their upscale feeling wedding. Congratulations, Whitney and Paul! We cannot thank you enough for choosing Dress Gallery as your bridal boutique. We loved getting to know you and helping style your girls. More importantly, though, we are so thankful you allowed us to play a small part of your big day. We wish you both a lifetime of love, laughter, and happiness. Cheers to you both!
