#dgcouple: Alex + Gage

#dgcouple: Alex + Gage

Fam - you guys are NOT READY for this ultra spicy, insanely hot, ridiculously kind couple. Our next #dgcouple is going down in Dress Gallery Hall of Fame for sure because we all LOST IT when we saw their wedding gallery! Alex and Gage got married in a traditional, formal, yet ridiculously fun wedding ceremony in spring 2022. Their wedding photographers, our absolute favorites Kay x Bee, perfectly captured this gorgeous couple and their beautifully detailed wedding day. Their classic black-and-white wedding scheme is one of our absolute favorites and you are going to LOSE IT when you see the full wedding party's looks. Take a look at some of our favorite shots from their wedding day below (buckle up, it was so hard to narrow down!)

WE WEREN'T KIDDING WHEN WE SAID THEY WERE HOT! Alex knew she wanted a traditional black and white wedding, making her wedding palette ridiculously classic but also easy. For her own dress, she wanted something timeless and feminine - she definitely wasn't a bride gravitating toward lots of lace and sparkle. We toned down the details and let her silhouette shine in this fitted Mikado Essense of Australia gown (style D265)! Her tank straps gave her support throughout the night while still showcasing her delicate collarbones. The fitted silhouette showed off her body and the clean, classic seaming was the perfect way to add detail without any lace or sparkle. Sprinkle in those gorgeous fabric buttons down the train + up her back and you have a truly traditional gown created with a modern bride like Alex in mind!

When it came to Gage's look, we knew we were going with a black tuxedo from the very beginning. The vibe of their wedding was timeless and formal, so we weren't surprised when Alex knew she wanted black tie attire. Gage and his groomsmen landed on our classic, notch lapel, two button tuxedo (style 133!) The detailing is timeless and handsome - if we're being honest, we were going for a James Bond type of vibe for him. We kept the entire group looking cohesive and blended with everyone in the same styles. Their group was large, loud, and FUN - we loved how they brought the energy on the Wednesday before the wedding when they all came in to try on their items! It was so helpful that their guys were able to try their items on in store so we could ensure everyone looked as spicy as they deserved - especially Gage!

(Psst - peek that Coors in the background! Told y'all they were fun!)

Alex and Gage have a daughter together, named Lennon, and they knew they wanted a way to include her in their special day. They kept their plan a secret from everyone until wedding day. During their ceremony, they actually did a baptism ceremony for Lennon! There wasn't a dry eye in the house as they celebrated Lennon and her baptism along with their marriage before God. It was such a special way to celebrate their family and we loved getting a glimpse of this beautiful moment in their gallery!

Congratulations, Alex and Gage (and Lennon!) We are so so so grateful you trusted Dress Gallery to style you for your wedding day. You guys were such a bright ray of sunshine every time you walked through our doors. We loved getting the opportunity to help you feel your best - and you looked AWESOME if we do say so ourselves. We wish you both a lifetime of love, happiness, and laughter; we know you'll have each in abundance. Cheers to the Ihrigs!
