#dgcouple: Aly + Caleb

This next #dgcouple is going to go down in the Dress Gallery Couple Hall of Fame (ya know, if we had one of those). This super sweet couple did every single piece of styling with us here at Dress Gallery - bridal, grooms, wedding party suits + dresses, all of it. Aly and Caleb been Dress Gallery customers for years prior to choosing us for their own weddings and we are always so thankful when customers return to us. Their photographer, Wichita-based Gentle Rayne, perfectly captured their romantic-yet-moody wedding ceremony at the Petroleum Club. We're going to be forever in love with this wedding, so get ready to see some of our favorite shots below!

For her dress, Aly wanted something comfortable and romantic. She was the chillest of the chill brides. She knew she wanted to marry Caleb - the rest barely mattered. Her consultant, Courtney, got to take the reins for a lot of the appointment to help guide Aly to her final choice. They landed on an A-line silhouette early, allowing Aly to comfortably move around all night, before falling in love with Aly's stunning Stella York dress (style 7169). She chose the short sleeve option for this dress for her May wedding, along with Stella's traditional ivory colorway. Her dress featured bold floral lace appliques throughout the best and train, giving subtle shimmer with the sequins throughout. Her thicker tank strap gave her support throughout the night while still showing off her delicate shoulders and collarbones. Add in her softly beaded chapel-length veil and soft, dusty florals and you have one of our absolute favorite wedding looks!

When it came to her 'maids, Aly kept her look simplistic by allowing her girls to choose whatever dress made them feel confident as long as it was a Morilee chiffon dress. We ordered all the gowns in their gorgeous Slate color, a perfect dusty blue for a springtime wedding. Aly + her two sisters had been Dress Gallery bridesmaids previously, along with one of them planning their own late 2022 wedding (blog post coming soon, obvi) and being in ANOTHER Dress Gallery wedding for a friend. Basically, these girls were ordering bridesmaids + bridal gowns left and right this past fall and spring! They became literal experts on how this process works. We're so grateful when groups have great experiences and choose to share us with their loved ones! You're up next, Ashley!

For Caleb + his groomsmen, we knew that we needed to get him on Aly's level, so we chose our stunning navy suit (style Collin). It was perfect combination between the formal look Caleb was wanting but the fashion-forward color scheme Aly was hoping to achieve. We love when grooms go colorful with their looks and navy blue is a great accent piece against most wedding palettes! It's dark enough to look traditional yet still having a pop of color in photos. We kept the overall look chic and timeless by having Caleb in the same look as his groomsmen, creating a clean look in photos. Whether you're a groom wanting to stand out or blend in, we have some great options! We promise we'll make you look as good as Caleb.
