#dgcouple: Emma + Jacob

#dgcouple: Emma + Jacob

Get ready, fam, because the chillest of #dgcouples is hitting the blog today and we are PUMPED. Emma and Jacob celebrated their wedding during an ultra sunshine-y, super bright springtime day. Their photographer, Lyndi Mishe, perfectly captured their day. We love the soft, romantic touches throughout the gallery, plus the adoring looks between Emma and Jacob. You're gonna wanna snag every single piece of this wedding and we won't blame you! Screenshot your favorite pics below.

Told y'all that you'd love this wedding! Emma absolutely nailed the Earthy, ethereal color palette that is super popular amongst brides right now. This neutral palette allows for small pops of color to take the stage while also matching beautiful into almost all organic backdrops. Plus, we are LOVING the trend toward lighter menswear options, especially for outdoor weddings! Emma and Jacob did a great job of having a fashion-forward wedding with timeless details. We won't be surprised if upcoming brides show us tons of photos from this wedding.

For Emma's look, we landed an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING Allure Bridals gown (style 9803) that features a sheer bodice with exposed corset boning, softly sequined lace appliques, and permanent tulle off-the-shoulder sleeves. Her dress featured an entire layer of secret sparkle - soft glitter tulle underneath the entire dress so Emma sparkled in sunlight! Her organic lace appliques trickled into the skirt and we LOVED the soft champagne color, allowing her tan/neutral color palette to match perfectly to the undertone of her dress. Add in some traditional fabric buttons all the way down the train and you truly have a whimsical, timeless ballgown!

For Jacob and his boys, Emma really wanted to lean into the fashionable tan suit look that grooms are loving right now. We let Jacob stand out by giving him the jacket while the rest of his groomsmen matched with our Casual Groom package. This allowed Jacob to feel a tad more formal than everyone else - and, for a late May wedding in Kansas, we're sure his groomsmen appreciated the suspenders instead of the jackets! We kept the look cohesive by choosing accent colors that matched the earthy tones of the wedding while still allowing Jacob to steal the show. We have some great options available for both purchase and rental if you're wanting to recreate Jacob's look!

Congratulations, Emma and Jacob! We are so grateful you trusted Dress Gallery to style you for such an important day. We LOVED getting to know you, your love story, and helping you plan such a fabulous event. We wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness. Cheers to the Petersons!
