This ultra fun, ultra cool, ultra hip couple had a wedding VISION and it came together, y'all. Iya had a dream of a whimsical, romantic, super airy atmosphere with a hint of edge and sexiness. Their totally cool style came together perfectly to create a timeless wedding with the MOST FUN atmosphere. Plus, maybe we're biased, but how cool does everyone look?!
For real, we cannot get over how fabulous Iya looks! She chose an absolutely stunning Essense of Australia gown, perfectly fitted to her silhouette, with sexy yet sophisticated side cut outs and a plunging v neckline. Her delicate spaghetti straps were beaded with the same soft, white beading used throughout the dress, along with sequining and a layer of cool, textured glitter to add dimension to the dress. Her dramatic extended train totally created a "WOW" moment and we love how she framed her body with a long chapel-length veil!
When it came to styling the bridal party, we can't take credit for Iya's maids - she did those all herself. She was a fashion forward bride looking for silk satin midi dresses before our designers made that style. NOW, however, we have some great silk satin options for brides wanting to pull off a look similar to this! Her champagne accents were a perfect neutral against the boys' classic navy suits. We love how Dustin kept his look just a little different from his groomsmen, allowing them to pop with floral ties and keeping the simplistic vibe all to himself!
We can't get over how these two look at each other! Iya's gorgeous Essense gown totally fit the vibe for the fun and funky vision they were wanting, while still feeling traditional bridal. Her big, bold lace appliques throughout kept his gown modern and the stretch jersey liner allowed her to dance the night away while still showing off her hips! We might be biased, but this style is a PERFECT choice for brides like Iya - fun, flirty, yet totally dramatic! D3066 is a dress totally made with the modern bride in mind.
