We've been sitting on one of the sweetest, cutest wedding galleries we've seen in a long time and we're so excited to finally showcase one of our favorite #dgcouples! Lexi and Steven were married in the dreamiest springtime ceremony surrounded by their loved ones and their adorable son. We might be biased, but they are seriously one of the cutest couples we've had in a long time. Their wedding photographers, DG favorites , were the perfect choice and have become the official photographers of the Abasolo family. First, we gotta talk about Lexi and this stunning dress choice. Lexi ended up choosing the best of both worlds - a super gorgeous fitted Maggie Sottero gown named Fantasia that featured the airiest, daintiest tulle overskirt. Lexi got the best of both worlds - a soft A-line silhouette but also a comfortable, fitted gown underneath. The dress originally came with a single layer of plain tulle, but Lexi loves a little extra drama so we added an additional sequined Chantilly layer. We all loved the texture that the Chantilly layer created, plus it totally became Lexi's custom gown by adding that small detail!
We loved her delicately beaded spaghetti straps, trickling sequined lace appliques, and gorgeous banded waistline. Her plunging neckline was sexy, yet sophisticated and we love that she paired her look with large beach waves and natural makeup. Her look was elegant, classic and bright, which perfectly fit the vibe of her dress and photographers. Lexi's wedding day look was the perfect combination between comfortable yet luxurious and we are OBSESSED.
When it came to Steven and his groomsmen, we knew that we had to match the effortlessly cool and traditionally bridal look that Lexi had. We landed on Houston, our handsome steel grey suit, for him and his guys and they opted to style the look with their own brown cowboy boots. It was a perfect way for Steven and his guys to showcase their personality while also remaining dressed up for a formal event! We kept the accent colors classic and light, just like the wedding palette, but gave Steven an extra bit of drama with a floral patterned tie. We love how this group was a little Western, a little glam, a little laid back, and yet a little bougie! Sizing suit pants with cowboy boots can occasionally be difficult, so we love that Steven's group trusted us through that process. Interested in mimicing Steven's look for your own guys?
