IT'S A DRESS GALLERY FAMILY WEDDING Y'ALL! We are hyped over our next #dgcouple because they're members of the DG fam! Our bridal consultant, Marisa, married her super dreamy soulmate, Caleb, in one of the most stunning and heart-felt ceremonies we've ever seen. And that's right - WE GOT TO TO GO THIS ONE! Dress Gallery actually closed early to make sure that we could all enjoy her ceremony and not miss a minute of celebration. We even hung out with her photographer, Justin Casanova, who was the perfect choice for this music-loving, tradition-breaking, ultra-cool couple. You're gonna FREAK over Marisa's wedding details (and we know because we did). Check out our girl + her boo Caleb below!
You KNOW that this was an all Dress Gallery wedding, so we knew we had to step our game up to make sure Marisa, Caleb, + their entire crew felt their absolute best. For Marisa, she THOUGHT she had an idea of what she wanted for her wedding day - whimsical, airy, and definitely A-line. Surprise, surprise during her bridal appointment when everyone fell in love with fitted styles on her! She ended up being the first bride to choose a DG Exclusive gown from our Opal & Lace collection. Her dress, named Aurora, was a perfect soft fit-and-flare to showcase Marisa's rockin' silhouette. The plunging sweetheart neckline and detachable off-the-shoulder sleeves kept her dress sexy, yet timeless and we all LOVED the textural lace throughout her dress. Add in a stunning dark champagne undertone to match the soft blues and greens of her wedding colors and you could say we were OBSESSED!
So after we styled Marisa and knew how smokin' hot she was gonna look, we had to make sure Caleb looked on the same level. We had him stand out from the rest of his guys by being our VERY FIRST GROOM in our brand new Allure Denim suit, a perfect combination between blue and grey for people wanting a unique color that's still formal. The rest of his guys ended up in our Slate Blue suit, complimenting Caleb but still letting him be the star. We accented their looks with our textured hunter tweed vest, which include a lapel - perfect for when the jackets are removed later in the night! Caleb was so nice and allowed us DG girls to take creative control over his look - thanks for the trust, Caleb!
Caleb is a local jazz musician who travels frequently for work. Marisa met Caleb at a New Year's Eve party where he played and they bonded over a shared love of music. There was not a dry eye in the house when Caleb surprised Marisa to SING to her his vows! He played the acoustic guitar and everyone was weepy as he serenaded his future bride. Their mutual love of music and that connection was so evident throughout the day. They had a live jazz band for cocktail hour and played favorites throughout the night that greatly differed from the traditional wedding playlist. Plus, we love the photos that Marisa and Caleb were able to snag where it's just the two of them + his guitar. It feels so authentic to their love!
Congratulations, Marisa and Caleb! We love you both SO MUCH. There are not enough words to describe how happy we are that you're part of our DG family.
