We are always honored when couples trust us to style their entire wedding groups. It means so much when we get to see their vision come to life from idea to week-of execution with their wedding suit rental items. Our next #dgcouple, Megan and Jesse, were one of the most laid back and down to earth couples we'd met in a longtime. We loved their warm energy and chill style, which totally translated to a perfect celebration on wedding day! Their photographer, Gentle Rayne, was literally the perfect combination for this couple; their album was beautiful, eclectic, warm, and full of celebration. Megan wanted their wedding day to feel effortless, easy, and fun - the same way her love with Jesse feels. We knew we wanted to style her in an A-line gown early in the appointment, as comfort was key for her. We knew this was a wedding that was going to be filled with singing, dancing, games, and more, so a restrictive style just wouldn't fit the vibe. We also wanted something that had a sparkle and "WOW" factor to it. Megan ended up loving one of our Dress Gallery exclusive dresses, style Atlas, featuring an illusion lace applique neckline and heavy beading throughout the bodice. The illusion button back closure keeps the back of the dress dramatic and supportive and we LOVE the button detailing continuing down into the train. The dress features a secret layer of sparkle throughout, adding extra dimension throughout and allowing Megan to shimmer with every step! She chose a traditional Ivory colorway to keep her look bridal with modern design features.
For Megan's girls, she wanted the color to match the airy, bright feeling of her wedding day and the cohesive look of having all the girls in the same dress. This is a great way of keeping a bridal party feeling traditional if you're pushing the boundaries in other areas. Plus, with so many options from Jasmine Bridesmaids to choose from, it was easy to find a dress that all the girls loved! They chose a stunning light pink color, "Pretty Pink," and an easy spaghetti strap style that supported all her bridesmaids. Their soft column skirts were lightweight for summertime and easy to dance the night away in!
We knew that Jesse and his boys' were not suit people. That's just not their style. They knew they wanted to celebrate their day in a way that felt comfortable and authentic to them - plus, it gave everyone an excuse to buy a new pair of boots! They chose to utilize our Rustic Package option, which comes with the shirt, vest, and tie combination while they styled themselves with their jeans and boots. This was a perfect combination - it allowed Megan to make sure that the grey options she wanted for the boys perfectly matched her other accent options and also allowed the guys to rent the items they weren't planning on wearing again. We have a few different "partial" package options for parties not interested in having every item in the rentals - just ask your consultant!
Congratulations, Megan and Jesse! We had an absolute blast getting to know you both, learning about your love story, hanging out with your group, and styling you to look your best.
