#dgcouple: Sara + Casey

#dgcouple: Sara + Casey

Guys....this next #dgcouple is one extra special to us. Sara Rieth is a local wedding photographer who has spent over a decade dedicating herself to her couples. She is an all-inclusive photographer, able to plan, coordinate, decorate, and shoot her couples' weddings flawlessly with the help of her team. We've worked with Sara both on styled shoots and with our own brides so we KNOW how dedicated of a wedding vendor she is. Her and her husband, Casey, married young and never got to have the large celebration they wanted for their wedding day. Sara, being Sara, planned the ULTIMATE anniversary wedding party - June 13th to celebrate 13 years together! Finally, we were able to help Sara look and feel as gorgeous as she always makes her brides feel. There is no better compliment than when vendors choose us for their own celebrations, so THANK YOU Sara - we are so blessed to have you and Casey be a Dress Gallery couple! Sara's second shooter took the pictures and she edited them herself, keeping in line with her gorgeous light, bright photography style. Take a peek at our favorite pictures below!

When it came to choosing the gown for Sara, she walked in with a vision and we were happy to oblige. This is a girl who LOVES glitter, sparkle, and all things feminine - we knew pretty early on that a ballgown was the way to go. Sara is also a dance instructor and had MAJOR plans of swinging the night away on the dance floor, so movement was important. Plus, as a photographer, Sara also had ideas of the types of photos she would like to have. Dancing photos, movement in the skirt, and DRAMA like that was important to her and we were happy to oblige. She ended up choosing an absolutely stunning Stella York ruffle ballgown dress (style 6330) and we added an additional glitter layer in the skirt so Sara's shimmer factor was way higher. Her strapless neckline showed off her delicate collarbones while also giving her tons of structural support for movement throughout the night. Her lace bodice kept the dress bridal while her ruffle skirt fit that fun, flirty, feminine vibe that Sarah embodies. We LOVED her dramatic veil, gorgeous California beach wave hair style, and effortless beauty look!

(How sweet is this picture of Sara surrounded by her girls? We literally swooned!)

For Casey, we kept his look classic and timeless. Casey's not normally the type of guy to fuss over fashion or details; he let us Dress Gallery girls style him entirely and simply showed up to be measured! We love when grooms place their trust in us to choose their looks for such an important day. We know that Sara wanted a light, bright, and airy vibe to her wedding because that's the entire personality of the Rieth family. Keeping Casey in something timeless was the perfect combination to Sara's stylish, traditional ballgown. This was such a unique and intimate ceremony and we were honored to play a part in it!

Congratulations, Sara and Casey! 13 years is a HUGE accomplishment and we are sure you'll have a lifetime more. You are both so warm and welcoming; we cannot thank you enough for trusting us to style you for such an important day. Our brides are always singing Sara's praises and we're so glad we were able to give her even a fraction of the experience that she consistently gives her brides. If you need a wedding photographer, Sara should be on your short list. Congratulations to the Rieth family!
