Alright, y'all, we are taking a tiny break from regularly-scheduled REAL bride content and showcasing one of our newest photoshoots! This super fun, full of laughter day was one of the most fun styled shoots we've done in a long time. Our girl Shelby Laine took the photos, the fabulous Elgin Hotel in Marion, KS hosted, and we had a blast hanging out and goofing around. We hope you'll fall in love with this beautiful venue as much as we did! Check out some of our favorite pics below:

If you're wanting the PERFECT old hotel/vintage building type of vibe, The Elgin should be super high on your list of potentials. This gorgeous hotel features turn of the century architecture, stunning details, and the perfect balance of elegant-yet-spooky vibes. We loved how ethereal and moody the entire building felt and there were SO MANY great places to shoot. The entire grounds are gorgeous and give you TONS of options for your ceremony set ups!  Take a peek at the gorgeous woodwork of the building! The gold accents! The piano in the foyer! The elegant chandelier! We could literally go on pretty much all day because we are literally obsessed. This was our first shoot at The Elgin but it certainly won't be our last.

When it came to styling for this shoot, we knew we wanted looks that captured the elegant, romantic vibe of The Elgin. We chose one of our exclusive gowns from our private collection, Opal and Lace, named Blossom! This A-line gown features a subtle v-neckline, organic trickling lace, whimsical bishop sleeves, and a stunning layer of secret sparkle. These sleeves are actually even detachable, allowing for a costume change post-ceremony if you wanted. We loved the long sleeve look and wanted to keep the entire vibe sophisticated, yet fun-loving.

For our male model's look, we kept everything classic and chic with our most popular navy blue suit and matching tie. His ivory pocket square to match his ivory shirt allows for an extra pop of color next to his boutonniere. His sophisticated, timeless look next to her whimsical, blush-colored gown created a perfectly complimentary look that screamed elegance, yet warmth. We can recreate this look and styles similar with your own wedding colors with your groomsmen easily.

We had SO MUCH FUN during this shoot. What was your favorite part - the gorgeous outfits, the fun photography, the gorgeous venue?! We might be biased but we loved all three! Let your consultant know you want to try Blossom on during your next appointment!
