Leather + Lace Fast Food Styled Shoot ft. All Black Attire!

Leather + Lace Fast Food Styled Shoot ft. All Black Attire!

GUYS, WE ARE LOSING IT OVER OUR MOST RECENT STYLED SHOOT. We absolutely love when we get to flex our creative muscles with our girl Shelby Laine, our resident photographer who is literally killing the game right now. Her creativity is off the charts and when we collaborated on this ultra-edgy yet super fun photoshoot, we had a blast. We wanted to choose a fast food restaurant with Wichita roots and with the super cool red-and-white palette of Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers, we knew we had our place. The crew at Freddy's was SO accommodating with their space and food - we're biased, but we love ANY excuse to eat steak fries. Check out our favorite shots from this super unique rock-and-roll inspired photoshoot below!

We weren't kidding when we said this was a rock-and-roll shoot, y'all! We wanted to showcase our boutique's only all-black wedding dress and what better way than a leather-and-lace inspired vibe, complete with black Harley Davidson?! The idea was to style the whimsical-yet-edgy black tulle dress against the asphalt and leather jacket to create a cool juxtaposition. We also wanted to pick a effortlessly cool venue, and what's better than a motorcycle elopement followed by fries and burgers? Nothing, if we're being honest!

We had our model, Bella, rock our only all-black wedding dress (Allure Bridals style 3400) and all black fingertip length veil. Our resident makeup artist Lauren Doll (the literal BEST here in town, y'all) totally nailed this effortlessly cool makeup look for Bella. We chose to style her boyfriend, Dylan, in a super casual groom attire - deep denim, riding boots, super cool embroidered letterman jacket. We love the combination of super formal for her and too-cool-for-school for him!

How cute are these Freddy's food shots?! We loved being able to be playful and even had the models do a mini food fight! (We cleaned up, though, we promise!)

Would you rock an all black wedding dress?! How about having your groom drive you off into the sunset on his bike? We loved this shoot and can't wait for our next look with Shelby!
