Guys, guys, guys - the day has officially arrived. If you've been following along, you know our girl, Katie Jones, created her own company, Heirloom Couture, to showcase her bespoke creations. She has done tons of accessories, but wanted to step into making her own gown collection. THE DAY HAS ARRIVED! We are so proud to introduce you to "Amelia," Heirloom Couture's first ever gown!
Katie flexed her modeling skills in her own creation during a posing workshop with Shelby Laine Photography. Shelby created some gorgeous images working some seriously fabulous vendors, including Free State Flora creating these luscious dark botanicals and Endless Treasures Event Rentals with the perfect moody accents.

Amelia features a soft lace bodice and skirt with a full point d'espirit tulle draped gracefully throughout the gown. The soft flowing cap sleeves add even more movement to the dress. She's delicately adorned with hand-placed pearls throughout. An additional banded lace waist highlights the smallest part of the body and the modest v neck is the perfect hint of sexy.
We also outfitted Chris, Katie's boyfriend, for this shoot! He's wearing our awesome emerald green velvet blazer, available through our menswear department. We kept his look sleek, clean, and simple, highlighted by the greens and blacks throughout the color scheme!
We are so proud of Katie for following her dreams and officially starting her bridal collection. The big, grand goal is to have her own line, available to be bought exclusively by Dress Gallery brides. Amelia is just the first of many to come that we are positive our brides are going to love. Katie is literally a magician with her hands and you'll definitely want a unique, truly one-of-a-kind gown!
