HEY GUYS! We absolutely love it when new wedding vendors come into town. It allows for creatives to get inspired within a new space and begin envisioning what potential weddings will look like there. We were so thrilled when Emmy Liz Events asked us to be apart of the first styled shoot at The Vail, a renovated wedding venue across from Hotel Oldtown in downtown Wichita. This luxurious space is accented with classic colors, timeless decor, and enough of a blank canvas for you to totally make it your own.

We love the copper and champagne colors Endless Treasures chose for the decor pieces in this shoot, especially combined with the edgy and modern cake courtesy of Stand Tall Bakery! This entire are feels bright, light, and moody - a literal opposites attract! We paired the shoot with one of our gorgeous Essense of Australia ball gowns, featuring a moscato undertone, criss-cross back detail, and the dreamiest skirt imaginable.
Can we talk about all that texture?!?! From the sequined skirt of the gown to the wild floral bouquet to the shaggy fur pillows....this crew sure knows how to stage scene! We love how luxurious the dress flows over the vintage couch paired with cool rug details for color and patterns. We might be biased, but we love that they kept her hairpieces a focal point of the beautiful updo! This is perfect inspiration for brides who want to ditch the veil, but still keep their look classy and bridal.
We LOVE a good Edison bulb moment - they give moody, contrasting light to all photos while also giving a warm glow, totally illuminating you in gorgeous light for bridal photos. Combine the look with lighted candles (faux or real!) and you have a cozy, intimate scene perfect for portraits. We love how Revel Gardens kept the florals dried and dusty, the perfect accent for this bohemian dream of a styled shoot.
