Roadtrip Elopement Styled Shoot ft. Bridal Bows + A Sexy Slit!

Roadtrip Elopement Styled Shoot ft. Bridal Bows + A Sexy Slit!

Okay, fam, we are SO EXCITED to show off our newest styled shoot - like, major heart eyes (literally!) Local fabulous photographer Rebecca Rose reached out to us with this absolutely killer styled shoot idea and we leapt at the chance to be included. Not only did she ask us to style the bridal look (featuring one of our hottest Essense of Australia gowns), but we were also lucky enough to showcase some really cool menswear, too! This ultra fun, elopement-style shoot totally captures the carefree, wild vibe of today's modern bride. If you're wanting your wedding photos to make an IMPACT, Rebecca should definitely be one of your first phone calls. Her vision is unique, her posing is intimate, and her editing is spot on. We are going to be sharing this styled shoot for a WHILE fam, so take a peek at our favorites below!

Rebecca wanted a crisp, modern dress for this styled shoot - we knew that lace and sparkle wasn't the vibe. "Traditional" wasn't a word we used to describe this wedding shoot, so as we were trying on dresses and accessories, we landed on simplistic and chic. We nixed a veil and instead chose a STUNNING soft tulle bow featuring scattered pearls, one of the hottest wedding trends right now. She clipped it to her beautiful bridal party pony (courtesy local wedding vendor, Hanna Edwards, of The Best Little Hair House in Maize, KS), paired it with her fabulous cat eye sunglasses and a bold red lip, and totally nailed this modern bridal look!

This stunning Essense of Australia gown (style D3460) is one of the hottest trending dresses right now. This delicate Mikado A-line gown features a modern scooping neckline, delicate spaghetti straps, sexy illusion side cut outs, and a stunning fold-over slit that allows for a super sexy peekaboo moment! We love that the slit is the perfect way to showcase your bridal shoes, regardless of style. We love this classic white stiletto, featuring pearl fringe accents, but we've seen white booties, snake print, full glitter, and more! Bridal shoes are a perfect way to add a spicy, unique look piece of your bridal look!

For the menswear look, we opted for our dusty rose velvet jacket from Allure Bridals, skinny tuxedo pants, and a white shoe to be a pop of color. The all-ivory look (ivory shirt, ivory tie) has been a popular look for grooms recently, allowing you to match the bride while the groomsmen match the bridesmaids. Velvet has become a popular texture within wedding world recently and we LOVE when grooms decide to lean into the trends! Fashion colors, textures, and patterns have become the standard for most grooms wanting to stand out on their wedding day. Whether you're looking to purchase or rent, Dress Gallery has some great options for your entire party. (You can purchase OR rent the velvet jacket you see during this styled shoot!)

We love any opportunity to pop champagne! Plus, all of these shots are such a fun way to showcase the slit in this dress. And what happens when Rebecca not only finds the coolest vintage car to shoot, but they drive up to a convenience store for snacks?! We get even more content with some super fun snack shots! Modern brides are all about authenticity - wedding galleries these days are all about movement, candid shots, flash photography, and unique backdrops. Gone are the days of overly polished, ultra posed bridal shots; instead, brides are loving photos that feel real and raw to their wedding day. We think Rebecca is a MASTER of this style!

Have you become OBSESSED with this styled shoot like we have?! We wouldn't be surprised. Don't be shy and feel free to show us ALL of these photos when you pop in for your appointment. Thank you SO MUCH Rebecca + her gorgeous vendors for including us in this ultra creative, super fun styled shoot. We cannot wait to show these off for months to come!
